For us, quality isn't a marketing phrase—it's how we've done business since 1972. We carefully select our spices and ingredients for their freshness, flavour, aroma and potency. If a product doesn't meet our standards, we simply don't buy it.
Over five decades, we've built a deep understanding of spices, herbs and dried food ingredients: where they grow best, when they're harvested, how grades differ, and what separates an ordinary ingredient from an exceptional one.
Today, we supply restaurants, foodservice distributors, food manufacturers and wholesalers across Canada and the USA. We don't believe in simply buying and reselling ingredients. We travel to growing regions around the world, meeting with producers, growers and farming communities and seeing firsthand where our products come from.
These relationships matter. Whenever possible, we work with trusted growers, farming communities and producer cooperatives who share our commitment to quality and responsible sourcing. Understanding the origin, climate, harvest and processing of an ingredient helps us choose products we're genuinely proud to put our name behind.
From high-oil Saigon cinnamon and bold black pepper to Spanish paprika, saffron, herbs and specialty dried ingredients, every origin has its own story—and its own characteristics. After more than 50 years, knowing those differences is a big part of what we bring to our customers.
